Abstract
The First Regional GIF Festival, GIFEST, held on the 1st of June 2013 in Subotica, is an annual event celebrating the animated GIF format, the fastest spreading and most popular visual and artistic format on the social media. Held in the cultural space Skladiste, it was a home of over 50 participants from the region.
