Catering and food capacities of the municipailities of Prilep, Krushevo, Dolneni and Krivogastani

For the development of tourism today in the 21st century, one of the most important activities in every populated place in the world, including ours, is the catering industry. Catering industry is of great importance for both foreign and domestic tourists during their stay in any tourist destination, whether it is an urban settlement, a rural village, a mountain, a ski center, a national park, a nature reserve, a canyon, a gorge, a river, a lake, waterfalls, various events such as paragliding, extreme sports such as tightrope walking, rock climbing, various flatland or mountain bike races, various motorcycle races, jeep races and various mountain and flatland car races. None of the previously mentioned tourist event attractions and activities would have ended well without the catering industry and facilities where local dishes and specialties are prepared and presented in a unique and specific way in every region of the world and in our country. These catering establishments nurture, prepare and keep the secrets of each type of food and thus become ethnically successful in satisfying the services of foreign and domestic tourists. This scientific paper will present some of the most significant tourist catering establishments that today exist and successfully operate in the municipalities of Prilep, Krushevo, Dolneni and Krivogaštani.
