Abstract

This text, as well as the research that was done during the work on it, was devoted to an almost unexplored question – how the achievements of fashion of the XIX century are transfered and successfully implyed in the fashion collections of designers working at the beginning of this century. The question turned out to be very important and topical, and also with great heuristic potential. Its decision answers the question of possible trends in the visible image of the social ideal – a question that is very successfully solved with the help of a fashion costume. The relevance of the topic was caused by the fact that the issues under consideration can give a new impetus to the understanding of fashion trends, as well as to analyze in the most adequate way the result that designers present in their collections. On the one hand, a result obtained as the use of the findings of the masters of clothing in the nineteenth century – costumes, styles, patterns, fashion and commercial practices caused by the rapid development of technology as a result of a kind of scientific revolution; and on the other hand, the possibilities offered by today's theory in the field of fashion, combined with both the traditions and the possibilities of modern production of materials for light industry. At the same time, the work corresponds to the spirit of the Internet revolution, which to a large extent revolutionizes all stages of the creation of modern fashion collections, but especially the presentation of the results of the work of modern fashion designers. If in the middle of the twentieth century the presence of a fashion show was something that was available to a relatively limited circle of narrow specialists who deal with the creation of fashion collections and their marketing, today, thanks to the Internet and the easy way to get mobile image, fashion shows turn into spectacles, practically accessible to anyone who wants to see them and try to find the necessary information on the Internet. The goals and tasks of the research work are emphasized, the practical result of which is the text of this article as well as the images presented to it, which illustrate the scientific facts and the ones based on them, so that they are sufficiently protected and reveal the essence of the phenomenon implication as a kind of historical and logical transfer of knowledge, skills and achievements of fashion from the XIX century in the field of practical work of fashion designers at the beginning of the XXI century – in this specific case year 2001. In addition, the possible sources of information are analyzed in detail, and the best semantic cores are found in them, which to one degree or another reveal and clarify the issues related to the implication. When analyzing fashion in the beginning of the XXI century, two seemingly opposite trends are noticed. One is to use the achievements of postmodernism and especially in the first place deconstruction and simulacrum. The other tendency is to use historical patterns, but they are filled not only with new visual, but also with new theoretical content. Since the simulacrum in fashion must be materially shown, which is difficult, the two trends unite at this point – the show can not change its real material nature and is embodied in the fabrics and costumes of the designer collection. However, the reasoning that is made and the explanations that are given are rather a sign of simulative and speculative thinking, which gives results precisely as a model of the designer's handling of the simulacrum.
