Abstract
The title of the paper indicates that it is focused on the beginning of the First World War, among the bloodiest and most tragic ones, as well as the number of human casualties. Also, according to the proportions and theories where this war has been waged, it has surpassed all the former ones. The topic provides sufficient space for the military operations of the Bulgarian Army, economic, political and health life, as well as the sense of this period and their consequences. The value of the paper is enriched with data on many geographic, topographic and military maps that point to the position and movement of the Bulgarian army in the period of September and October 1915. The significance of this paper is in the reality of the presented events, which are still present in this region in the present time. Keywords: war, maps, negotiations, analyzes, operations
