Abstract
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant diseases. The best chance for successful treatment is early detection of the colorectal cancer. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. Proper nutrition and exercise can help prevent many types of cancer, including colorectal cancer. The nurse has a major and responsible task in carrying out and implementing health care at any time with a different kinds of patients. The care includes: Helping the patient with taking food and liquids Helping the patient elimination Helping the patient when walking, sitting, lying and changing their position Helping the patient with rest and sleep Helping the patient to dress and undress. Helping the patient to maintain their body temperature Psychosocial support comprises of increasing the self-confidence and self-efficacy of the patient by giving them positive messages, encouraging words or agreeing with their ideas, accepting their feelings and positively comparing their personality.
