Abstract

Jesus Christ brought to people new commands based on love. To love God above all, to love our neighbor (meaning everyone) and to love the enemy. Jesus came not to abolish already adopted commandments in Judaism. These commandments were given to Moses and were written in the Torah (Jewish holy book) later in the Old Testament Christians .. He came to fulfill and complement. This love is not some abstract concept that unfortunately many modern Christians or opponents put in a world of esoteric spirituality and mystery of each person individually. This love is active. Since it is a whole system of ethical relations, problems occur among people at any time and place. Jesus asks people to be humble, modest, requires us to love, to forgive, to help, not to boast when we help. So each individual is obliged to be as a child. Even when we grow. Children are pure souls forever. Caritative and Samaritan work should be our duty. We should help people in trouble. Christianity conquers the world with the ethics of love with the commandment of love, nonviolence, compassion and forgiveness. One can not tell anyone that loves God, and, hate the others. He is a liar! - Jesus says. He hates the othera and hates further across the nation. Xenophobia and nationalism were the first who opposed Christianity. The above will find it in any ethics written by Orthodox and Roman Catholic Church. All this is well written, but on paper. Today there is a gap between learning and real life of the Church institutions. This applies equally to both churches. To make a comparative view of ethics, which however differs in some parts I’ll have to point out some differences in the dogmatic teaching, because from there over the centuries developed a different individual and social ethics that simply looking at today.
