Abstract
This paper shows the procedure for rational selection of mining excavation methods, which depends on several mining-geological factors.
There are several procedures for rational choice or selection on mining methods by mining and geological factors.
The most commonly used procedure by Nicholas (1981) and procedure by UBC (1995).
