Abstract
In the thesis is presented modern GIS technology and its application in the field of cadastre. GIS technology is essentially based on the display and information processing related to given geographical coordinates. In the paper is implemented GIS software package Microstation, widely applied in the field of cadastre.
The paper developed model using data from the cadastre of the municipality of Gostivar.
Applied GIS technology opens up wide possibilities of processing of cadastral data, efficient storage and updating them, which is of particular interest in communicating with citizens.
For fully exploiting the possibilities of GIS technology is necessary require the creation of a database.
