Abstract
This paper focuses on integration of the architectural form in the landscape, a topic that is related to the conservation of the environment with ecological and bioclimatic architecture.
This report explores the forerunners of sustainable development, energy saving and environmental adaptation, and research developed within the subterranean living to large projects, with particular attention to the formal and practical potential of land use.
The paper contains both, modern and historical examples which are part from different cultures and periods.
