Abstract

Vision through walls using Wi-Fi signals and artificial intelligence represents an emerging approach for detecting human presence and movement in concealed or obstructed environments. By analyzing variations in Wi-Fi signal reflections caused by human motion, advanced machine learning algorithms can reconstruct information about location and movement without the need for wearable devices or direct line of sight. This technology enables non-invasive sensing through walls and other obstacles, offering significant advantages for security, search-and-rescue missions, emergency response, and military operations. The integration of Wi-Fi-based sensing with artificial intelligence provides a cost-effective and adaptable solution for enhancing situational awareness in complex and inaccessible spaces.
