Abstract
With its nineteenth issue, the journal “Palimpsest” steps onto the threshold of the jubilee year 2025, marking a decade of its existence. The continuity of the journal, its scientific selectivity and the rich spectrum of international authors from nearly all continents have shaped it into a highly ranked publication, where researchers from various fields of philology find their common scientific language writing about linguistics, literature, culture, translation studies, language and literature teaching methodologies, and more. Over the years, “Palimpsest” has proven that scientific thought can transcend intercultural differences, even conflicts, and create a space for the coexistence of topics that, outside the text, may often appear contradictory. Namely, while reviewing the papers in this issue, we notice topics ranging from multilingualism to literary duality, from comparative grammars and applied linguistics to studies that treat the human being as a linguistic entity faced with the challenges of digital technologies.
