Abstract

In cyclic staircase voltammetry, the applied potential signal is not a linear ramp (as in conventional linear scan cyclic voltammetry), but a stepwise potential ramp consisting of discrete potential increments separated by a small time-interval. We give here step-by-step protocol that defines all relevant parameters in a MATHCAD file that are needed to start simulation of cyclic voltammograms. Once all these parameters are defined, one can use free trial version of MATHCAD (https://support.ptc.com/products/mathcad/mathcad-15-0/free-trial?refid=cadventure) to simulate cyclic voltammograms (here presented for CE mechanism).
