Abstract

Given the growing need to increase green spaces in the vicinity of people, and in broader terms, the need for formation of professionals who have a broad knowledge of design issues and increasing the green areas in order to begetter establishment, construction and maintenance.
In this paper covered landscape architect profession as a profession that offers a broad perspective at a time when the focus actuality falls green architecture, green cities and development.
The purpose of this research is to make a comparison of the education and practice of the profession of landscape architect in Macedonia and some neighboring countries in order to see the current situation in our country this relatively young profession in our region.
