Abstract

The Creative Problem Solving and Business Idea Generation workshop was conducted with the aim of fostering innovation, critical thinking, and teamwork among participants, under the project: Business eco-system as an integrated system – Be In. The workshop focused on equipping participants with the skills necessary to identify, define, and solve complex problems while fostering the creation of impactful business ideas for personal and societal development.

Workshop Agenda:
1.Icebreaker Session and introduction of participants.
2.Understanding Creative Problem Solving:
•Overview of creative problem-solving methodologies.
•Case studies highlighting successful problem-solving approaches.
3.Defining Problems:
•Group exercises to identify and define real-life problems.
•Techniques for framing problems in a way that encourages innovative solutions – The Problem Tree.
4.Ideation and Brainstorming:
•Techniques for generating creative ideas.
•Group brainstorming sessions focused on identified problems.
5.Solution Development:
•Guided session on developing practical and feasible solutions.
•Mentor-led discussions on refining and improving proposed solutions through the SCAMPER technique.
6.Future innovative businesses examples.
