Abstract

Algebraic rational expressions are used in natural and technical sciences, as well as in geometry, engineering, but also in various real situations. Therefore, the importance for their detailed study and mastery is enormous. Their studies begin in the 7th grade of primary education and continue in the 8th and 9th grade according to the Cambridge program, before being completed in the first year of secondary education. The teaching material offered for primary and secondary education should be agreed with the aim of not causing problems for students in acquiring concepts, memorizing and applying them. Therefore, in this paper, an analysis of the agreement of the topics in these two levels of education will be made.
