Abstract

This paper gives the methodology and the obtained results of the quantitative mineralogical investigations carried out on ore from the Rzanovo iron and
nickel bearing deposit. The issue of the quantitative mineralogical determinations is very important especially for those mineralogical associations which are important especially for those mineralogical associations which are built up of a large number of minerals. The ore from the Rzanovo deposit is complex and essentially built up ofseveral mineral phases (silicates, ixides, sulphides) which are present in various amounts. The determination of their amounts is extremely important in further enrichment processes as well as in their preparation for mineral processing.
