Abstract

Contemporary academic teaching is a multidimensional process that involves establishing a high level of interaction between the teacher, students and the material that has been teach. It can be improved by applying a numerous of interactive learning and teaching strategies. Which and what kind of strategies can be applied in higher education? What determines their application? What competencies should be possessed by the persons who apply them? These are just some of the questions whose answers we try to answer and present in this paper.
