Abstract
The aim of this article is to share a positive experience of use of the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) tools in teaching literature and hopefully inspire other colleagues to apply this kind of tools in their work. The first part of the article offers an introduction to the ICT tools and their use in educational purposes. Furthermore, the author provides description of the teaching environment at her workplace, presenting the most commonly used ICT tools.
Particular attention is paid to the fruitful experience of use of the Google Map tool as a complementary activity during Italian Novel of the 20th Century course. The impact of this activity is presented and its further application in other occasions than the course, which expands its impact beyond the course limit.
