Abstract
The central concept from which we began to create this work was the concept of beauty. This concept, in the linguistic sense, was approached by us on two occasions. This paper deals with the way we describe it in poetry by some of our authors. In philosophical terms, the beauty is associated with moral purity (Kant and Schiller) and with the truth (Schiller). These concepts are well and nicely related in theology, too. The language, as a reflection of the conceptualization of the world by a man, testifies this: in the semantics and the semantic development of the "beauty" the meaning "good" is included. The illuminating book "Blessing" („Добротољубие“)/ "Filokalia" is a book that unites the concepts of love - beauty - goodness. In poetry, the concept of beauty, is associated with women and with love. According to Kant, the beauty is a virtue immanent to the woman, while the man's virtue is noble. According to him, the nature (of man and woman) tends towards the fact that the man in the intercourse of the sexes will become more noble, and the woman, in the same way, will become more beautiful. The text explains that with the item “beauty” it is meant and/primarily the moral beauty. We chose to analyze two (male) poets, pillars of Macedonian poetry B. Koneski and G. Todorovski, to whom we eventually joined the third, no less important in his poetry, P. M. Andreevski. We analyze three songs by Koneski: "Beautiful Women", "Memorial" and "Nightmare". The subject of our interest is the feeling that dominates in the poems and the concepts associated with the beauty. G. Todorovski in our analysis is presented with the poem "Seven Reflections on the Motive of Flashing Poplar", and P. M. Andreevski with the poem "When I Loved Denizia". We do not include poems as an integral part of our text, but we refer to them through appropriate links. The concept of beauty by G. Todorovski is not explicitly linguistically expressed. We find it on a plan of feeling. In the poetry of B. Koneski and G. Todorovski, the concept of beauty is related to love, and this connection was the reason that in the analysis was included the author P. M. Andreevski, with his anthological "When I Loved Denizia", which we take as the third example of expressing the concept of love. The analysis we offer shows (three) different language expressions of the concepts of beauty and love. Language images of the secrets of three of our poets (Rilke, according to R. V. Ivanović 2004).
