Abstract
The Intensive Care Unit has been developed separately from other health departments because of the need
to care for an endangered patient. The beginnings of separation of intensive care from other departments can befound in surgical "shock" rooms from which independent departments of intensive care under the guidance of
doctors - anesthesiologists have become independent over time. At the Intensive Care Unit, the work of medical
personnel is highly accentuated team work, so it is precisely known who is responsible for a particular task and forwhat part of a particular task, such as determining and giving therapy, and the like
