Abstract
Postpartum health care starts after delivery at the maternity hospital, and includes screening during hospitalization, in her home in the early days through the patronage service, that is, education and giving advice to the mother. Next is a control examination after six weeks at the parent gynecologist. In the implementation of postpartum health care, patronage nurses have a very important role whose key tasks are controlling and monitoring the physiological events of both women and infants, especially in providing help in case of problems and education for the normal recovery process after delivery and possible difficulties and complications. Keywords: рostpartum care, gynecology, childbirth.
