Abstract
Myopia or nearsightedness is a refractory anomaly where parallel light rays entering the eye after breaking through the cornea and lens congregate with a focus that is in front of the retina in the vitreous body rather than falling to the retina at a clear-sighted center where the light rays are diverging and making a sculpted image of the object that the eye is currently observing.
