Abstract
Active listening is especially important in teaching, when implementing the educational process, for achieving all the teaching goals that teachers set. Taking into account the complexity of the communication process, the most important thing is that teachers should enable students to listen actively, thus facilitating the process of learning and learning. Seemingly easy, but in practice the difficult role of teachers, because they are not always ready to actively listen to the students. This paper elaborates the problem of active listening in teaching, the teacher-student relationship, and alternatively when these two communication subjects change their roles to communicators and recipients. This means that this research should find ways to improve the process of active listening in both subjects, which would result in better realization of the educational process, by raising the level of understanding and learning.
