Abstract
Yunus Emre (1238-1320) is one of the founders in lyric poetry and also one of the most important figure
in Turkish literature. The love and tolerance is the first association of Yunus Emre. Neither his ideas or his poetry is no room for rigidity, hatred and hassle. Yunus Emre in his poetry especially highlights the importance of the human.
As most significant poet of Mystical literature shows his desire and love for God and says that every person should
find the way to connect to God. According to Yunus the obligations of every person is to love God and through love to become a perfect human. He sing for equality of people, tolerance, respect , his universal brotherhood transcend all international divisions and secreted. His poetry, humanity, philosophical , religious and animal thoughts of most reliable and most comprehensive way speak his lines, directly and easily accessible for both then uneducated , as well as today's modern, educated reader. In this is his popularity and he remains unsurpassed to this day Turkish poet.
