Abstract
The quality of the educational system of a country is determined by its higher education. As it is known, higher education is at the top of the education pyramid and as such its responsibility towards the whole education system and towards the society is
increasing every day. Teaching and schooling is changing in a variety of ways. As our university ‘Goce Delcev’ is relatively new, it follows the new modern trends of e-learning integrated through courses on Moodle. This paper presents the advantages of using ICT in education of the students from the Faculty of Philology who study English and German respectively. It presents how ICT, more precisely Moodle, used by students can provide access to information resources, create interactive working and learning environment, enable communication, and promote changes in methods of teaching and learning.
