Abstract
A criterion for the design that is proposed here is based on the initial process engineering and data submitted Sardich MC, Outotec reserves the right to change the project in subsequent project phases.
Sardich MC will build a plant SX-EW in Macedonia in connection with a new installation for pickling of heaps. Plant for extraction of solvent - electrolysis, where copper is extracted from the solution of pickling the pile and enriched solution pickling.
The plant will be designed as a greenfield investment. Design capacity of the plant SXEW 4400 tons / year of cathode copper.
Factory SX-EW is designed for the extraction of copper from the input stream of enriched solution leachate supplied from the process of pickling of Sardich.
Enriched solution leachate be purified and concentrated in the solvent extraction and copper is obtained in the electrolysis in order to produce LME (London Stock metals) A grade cathode copper. Following production targets are set for the plant SXEW
