Abstract
After the several terrorist attacks on the EU territory done by domestic citizens, few steps were made not only from the security aspect but also sociological for managing and controlling the development of the religious radicalism in the EU territory. Solving this complex problem includes understanding the religious radicalization, its basics, mentality and development. The prevention of the radical Islam goes in the direction of active involvement of the state institutions in the social living in the environments potentially vulnerable by the religious radicalism. So far the measures taken for preventing and countering the religious radicalization and terrorism are situated in the social, legal and security segments of acting of the EU member countries. But those measures are not giving the expected results regarding the continuing development and change of the way of acting of the organizations that promote the religious radicalism as an Islamic fundamentalism which is a base of the presence of the terrorism in the EU.
