Abstract
One of the main aspects of functioning of the Units of Local Self-government in Republic of Macedonia is their cooperation with Civil Organizations Sector. The main goal of Municipalities and NGO sector, is through cooperation to establish better base for accomplishing citizen’s demands and public good. The factors of influence toward more successful cooperation are determined on three levels: 1. International and regional bases of functioning of NGO sector, founding dependence, networking, cooperation and capacities; 2. National level determined from legal framework and policy practices of central national authorities; and Local cooperation between NGO and self-government units, where the addressing of questions of interest and direct cooperation are equally important.
