Abstract
The quasigroup string transformations have been used for defining several crypto primitives. Based on them, many successful cryptosystems of different kinds were published recently. Here we investigate possibilities of
designing block ciphers based on quasigroup transformations. We show thefresistance of these designs to multiset attacks. Starting ideas of possible constructions by using quasigroups of small orders and of huge orders are discussed too.
