Abstract
Осигурителниот пазар во 2007-2012 година во Република Македонија го сочинуваат околу 13 осигурителни компании, некои од нив се занимаваат исклучително со осигурување на живот. Новина на осигурителниот пазар во Република Македонија во 2010 година е појавата и формирањето на брокерски друштва и друштва за застапување во осигурувањето.
Вкупниот број на активни агенти и брокери изнесува околу 2750, од кои околу 500 се ново креирани. Тоа значи, дека осигурителниот пазар во Република Македонија претставува атрактивен пазар за нови инвестиции, како домашни, така и странски (Австрија, Словенија, Хрватска и други).
Доминантно место во осигурувањето зазема безживотното осигурување во однос на осигурувањето на живот. Споредбено за период 2007-2010 година осигурувањето на живот 2,8%-4,15%-4,87%-5,47% и неживотно осигурување 97,2%-95,85%-95,13%-94,53%.

Abstract
The insurance market in 2007-2012 in the Republic of Macedonia there are cca 13 insurance companies, some of them are dealed especially with life insurance. The new detail in the insurance market in the Republic of Macedonia in 2010 is appearance and forming of the brockers companies and companies for support for insurance.
The total number of agents and brockers is 2750, from which 500 are new created. It means that the insurance market in the Republic of Macedonia is very attractive market with new investments, either domestic or European (Austria, Slovenis, Croatia etc).
Special and dominant place in the insurance has covered unlife insurance in the relationship of the life insurance. With comparation for the period 2007-2010 the life insurance 2,8%-4,15%-4,87%-5,47% and unlife insurance 97,2%-95,85%-95,13%-94,53%.
