Abstract
This paper revolves around the analysis of English plant idioms and their Romanian counterparts establishing the level of equivalency, or non-equivalency in some cases. In order to succeed in our attempt we bring forth theoretical input on idioms and equivalency as a process of translation. We also exhibit a clear overview of the observed idioms by undertaking a report analysis.
