Abstract
Given the fact that female entrepreneurship does not lose its importance and is closely intertwined with gender equality policies, the subject of research in this paper is exactly the position of the female entrepreneur in the Republic of Macedonia and detecting the weaknesses of the system that affect its development. The conclusions are based on secondary sources of data and one of the key aspects of the research is to make a cross-section of the situations, to determine the key challenges of the female entrepreneur, to determine the areas that are monitored institutionally through gender-sensitive data and the need for their expansion, need for future research on this problem, etc.
