Abstract

During the first decade of the XXI century, the bearers of the new in fashion or fashion designers, stylists, influential and creative personalities manage to develop and try out numerous technologies for irritating (teasing) a part of society, relying on style differences, with which they will cause cardinality, imposingness and a self-proclaimed replica of something that already existed, something that has already been tried and confirmed as successful and influential, regardless of whether in a positive or negative way. Rarely anyone can recognize this and most often they are people with an analytical tendency and a deep and high-quality theoretical basis and knowledge not only of the modern, but also of the historical costume as a whole. In relation to the latter, the subject of research in this paper is the historical costume of the XIX century - its visual-aesthetic forms and accents, and motivating elements and segments that make it an object and model for recreating new fashion in the trends of spring-summer collections in 2007.

Key words: historical costume of the XIX century, implication, fashion of the XXI century – year 2007
