Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the development of organic agriculture in North Macedonia and propose key policies, legal adjustments, and strategic directions necessary for its harmonization with EU Regulation 2018/848. The plan is proposed to support sustainable growth of the organic sector, enhance rural development, and ensure compliance with European standards. A comparative analysis and adaptation of specific articles from the regulation, to the conditions of these areas in North Macedonia are used as methodologies applied in the preparation of the draft plan.
