Abstract
The article aims to show the different degrees of education in Vardar Macedonia within the Kingdom of SHS/Yugoslavia. The high percentage of illiteracy in this part of the Kingdom has been a challenge for the authorities in organizing the education system where assimilation policies will be implemented, and future generations raised in the Serbian spirit and Serbian culture will be built. An overview of the different types of school institutions and the problems they faced were given. Keywords: Vardar Macedonia, education, gymnasiums, vocational schools.
