Abstract

The concert pianists Ema Popivoda from Macedonia and Asami Sate from Japan had a concert tour in Japan 2023 with the following schedule.

24.06.2023 – Tochigi Sakushin Gakuin Educational Centre
28.06.2023 – Imajuku, Chigasaki
29.06.2023 – Hamanogo, Chigasaki
30.06.2023 – Tochigi Perfecture Cultural Centre
07.07.2023 – Suntory Hall Tokyo

The last concert of the tour was in one of the most renewed and prestigious concert halls in the world - Suntory Hall in Tokyo. The concert was dedicated to 30 years diplomatic relations between Macedonia and Japan. The concert also marked the 60 years of the catastrophic earthquake in Skopje and 110 years since the birth of the architect Kenzo Tange.
The opening speech of the concert was held by Mr Niriyuki Shikata - head of the cabinet of the Prime Minister of Japan and the State Secretary of MFA of Macedonia Mr. Filip Tosevski.
The program consisted compositions by Debussy, Saint Saens, Ravel, as well as the composition "Four seasons" by the Japanese composer Miyoshi and "Dali pametish Milice" by the Macedonian composer Buzarovski.
