Abstract

Тhe project consists of several contents, including a festival, workshops for making traditional costumes, exhibitions, seminars, educational contents about the tradition and culture between the countries of the Balkans. The women's traditional dress of the Vlachs, which originates from the end of the 19th century and was worn in Greece, Macedonia, Albania and Romania. A special emphasis is given to the traditional costume worn by Vlach women, and after researching the original cut, new models are created.
Creations of the author:
The dress consists of 4 cut parts, 3 of which form the upper part, and 1 the lower part.
Other parts of the traditional costume are shirt, bodice, apron.
The shirt is worn under the dress, the bodice is worn over the chest to cover the plunging neckline and finally an apron is tied around the waist.
It was traditionally worn by women and girls
Production of 13 children's Vlach traditional costumes that are used within the project
