Abstract
The market is often faced with food that is contaminated with pesticides, with poor quality characteristics and undefined nutritional value.
Indicators of the need of producing quality and safe food:
-Growing world population;
-Globalization of food trade
-Global food supply chain
-Rapidly changing food systems
-Climate change
A safe food supply is a key to sustaining life and promoting good health.
It supports national economies, trade, and tourism, and stimulates sustainable development.
Controlling every step in producing food is the most important thing that we need to do.
What could we do to change it?
Advanced technologies enable digitization also in the field of agriculture.
We believe that this is one of the directions on which we will act to achieve that goal.
Actually, it is about creating an application that would be available on IOS and Android OS in which farmers could monitor and record all the activities that will be undertaken until the final product is obtained.
