Abstract

Possible risks and dangers on archaeological sites along the lower flow of the river Bregalnitsa generally have the same assessed level of threat. The fires are characterized by second and third degree of danger depending on the areas in the lower flow of the river, the floods throughout the second level of threat while the other types of risks and dangers are no serious indications of endangering the sites. But those assessments are too generalized, which requires a more detailed analysis, elaboration and mapping that would specifically determine the level of risk for each site.
