Abstract
In the first chapter we present examples of bases in Banach
Spaces. The second chapter is dedicated to applications of the theory of bases in the study of duality and the space of James. In the third chapter we study unconditional bases and applying Daugavet operators we show that the classical spaces C[0,1] and L1 [0,1] are without unconditional basis.
