Abstract
Students from the department of Classical painting from the Academy of Fine Arts from Goce Delcev University were invited to participate in the Pup Up Akto Festival in Stip.
They were a part of the two-day workshop on the subject of collective work.
The goal was to create a work of art, more precisely a panel 2.5 meters by 5 meters. The subject matter was to be connected with the textile workers, their struggles and rights. I was invited to be a mentor, so I selected 10 students, prepared a sketch, and helped them transfer it on the panel. I also helped them with the painting, but they did most of that part themselves. The goal of this workshop and process was to understand the difference between individual work and team work, both of which are legitimate in the art world.
