Abstract

Hydropower plant Kozjak is accumulation type of hydro plant with total installed capacity of 80 MW , put into operation in 2004. Conterporary SCADA system is implemented for data acquisition and supervision from generator excitation system , dam inlet , 110 kW switchgea. Redundant optical network is installed for data transmission to operator console as well as to communication computer which is connected to supervising dispatching center in Skopje via IEC870-5-101 protocol. Paper describes hardware and software solution of SCADA system as well as features of human-machine interface.
