Abstract
Coenzyme Q derivatives can be obtained enzymatically by applying CytP450 at the native Coenzyme Q derivatives, or chemically, by reaction of Coenzyme Q's with NaOH. THe novel derivatives possess very high antioxidative potential, and they are able to bind earth-alkaline cations. The perspective and the potential application of these novel couples is discussed.
