Abstract
In this paper we look at two works, one Macedonian and one of the Croatian literature for children and youth, among whom could establish a relation in terms of their common elements. The similarity between these two novels ("Drmlivo patuvanje" by Tiho Najdovski and "Sportski život leteћeg Martina" by Dubravko Jelačić Bužimski) is seen in the area of the fantastic and areas that border it - marvelous and realistic.
