Abstract
On May 1st 2013, the International Labor Day, Independent Union of Journalists and Media Workers in Macedonia (SSNM) and Movement for Social Justice LENKA, to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Macedonia submitted initiative i.e. petition for disputing the constitutionality of part of the highly controversial article 213-c of the Macedonian Labor Act (2005). Until now [the end of 2013] the Constitutional Court of RM has not replied to the Petition and has made no decision about it. We hope that this paper will be sufficient stimulus for the constitutional judges to adopt the legal arguments of the applicants and to abolish this disputed article of the Labor Act as obviously unconstitutional and opposite to the International Labor Law.
