Abstract

This paper focuses on the analyze of the occurrence of various types of genres of the folk literature in teaching mother language (Macedonian) in primary schools and their function that is used in the teaching process. Moreover, the emphasis is put on the curriculum from fifth to eighth grade in several schools in Stip, R. Macedonia. Through this research, conducted among teachers who teach only a certain subject, i.e. from fifth to eighth grade, an attempt is made to answer the questions related to pupil's reception of folk literature, performed among pupils of different age groups.
