Abstract
The author has sumatized in this book the present knowledge on rice diseases in the world. He has paid a special attention to economically important diseases of rice in Macedonia. Likewise, he has described a certain number of diseases which have not been found in this country but have been cited in the world's literature.
The book consists of several chaplers: fungus diseases, bacterial diseases, virus diseases and nemathodes. At the end of explenation about each disease there is given a list of the most important sources of literature used.
