Abstract
Introduction: Rabies is a well known disease in Balkan Region long time ago. It is a serious problem in the health system of every country in the region as well as in the Republic of Macedonia.
The aim of our work is to present the incidence of Rabies as a disease in the Republic of Macedonia in the last three years as well as to establish the principles of prevention and prophylaxis of this life threatening disease.
