Abstract
Despite of the fact that foreign language interaction has been taking place for many years, still, many students face difficulties expressing themselves as native speakers. The reason for this is found in the process of acquisition of the foreign language where the students are exposed to an input where only a small fragment is processed. In the foreign language classes the students should be prepared to use the language in real life situations, not for the needs of the classroom. For that reason it is believed that the approach in the teaching process of the foreign language needs to be altered, i.e. our role as teachers should provide a range of activities which will modify the way students perceive and process the input they are exposed to, in order to increase the intake taken from the input.
