Cooperative learning is a teaching method which is realized through group work and it is based on motivation, interaction and cooperation among the members in the group. This teaching method is concentrated on the heterogeneity of the working groups, the effective positive mutual dependency of the members within the group and the equal opportunity for each of them to participate in achieving the mutual success. With the application of the cooperative method, the students, as members of a group, are depending on each other and they realize that only with exchange and sharing of their personal knowledge and skills they can achieve more i.e. they realize that with individual work they will not be able to achieve the assigned task.
